AECOM Excellence Awards
We have created AECOM’s annual Excellence Awards, where we recognize the superior achievements of both individuals and project teams who work together across disciplines, roles and technologies to bring about positive change in the world.
In 2009, AECOM’s achievement in technical excellence reached exciting new levels and the program continues to celebrate notable client projects and business contributions through four project categories along with categories for Business Improvement Innovation and Thought Leadership. The latter is an award that recognizes those who serve as sterling examples of innovation and leadership for colleagues, clients and other stakeholders. Winners come from all parts of the world and represent a wide range of practice areas.

BEST LARGE PROJECT
Entries for the Best Large Project award were judged against a host of criteria, including achievement of budget and schedule goals, nature of challenges overcome and overall client satisfaction.

Entries for the Best Small Project award were completed in FY08 or FY09. Other than size, these projects were judged against identical criteria as the Large Project nominations.

Entries for Best Technical Innovation award were for projects where technological advances or developments were achieved, or where existing technology was adapted to new applications.

Entries for the Business Improvement Innovation award were for an innovation to a business process that had a major impact on how the company or group does business.
