Jeffrey Evans, Corporate Vice President Design and Construction – AECOM Capital
Mr. Evans currently manages the design and construction activities for AECOM Capital of Los Angeles with primary responsibility of the new Pendry Hotel and Residences in West Hollywood. He has more than 40 years of development and construction management experience.
Prior to joining AECOM, Mr. Evans oversaw design and construction activities at Oasis West Realty, the Owner and Developer of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Beverly Hills. Prior to completing the Waldorf Astoria, Mr. Evans was responsible for design and construction for The Athens Group for nearly 15 years. Projects included The Montage Resort & Spa, Laguna Beach, CA. (including adjacent villas); The Montage Hotel, Beverly Hills CA.; The Montage Hotel, Deer Valley Utah, and The Montage Hotel Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina.
Previously Mr. Evans was Regional Vice President of Operations for Koll Construction in Newport Beach, California. At Koll, Jeff was a member of the executive committee and officer of the company. During Mr. Evans career he was responsible for all management and operations, including the development of high-rise and mid-rise office buildings, retail properties, hospitality and industrial centers, senior care, institutional and religious facilities, and tenant improvements of various projects. Mr. Evans has held various senior management positions with other California-based contractors, developers and institutional real estate owners as well.
Mr. Evans received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Economics with a Minor in Construction Management from the Texas Tech University.
