{"id":20082,"date":"2015-10-14T18:09:52","date_gmt":"2015-10-14T18:09:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/baltics\/projects\/motorway-sub-section\/"},"modified":"2018-06-06T02:17:51","modified_gmt":"2018-06-06T06:17:51","slug":"motorway-sub-section","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/baltics\/projects\/motorway-sub-section\/","title":{"rendered":"Motorway Sub-Section Bilje\u0161evo-Kakanj"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the north-west side of Sarajevo, in the valley of the Bosnia River, we are helping to create a new sub-section of motorway (Bilje\u0161evo-Kakanj) which will provide key connections with neighbouring countries and throughout the region. This is a sub-section that passes near the national road M17 and will connect Zenica in the north west with Mostar in the south.<\/p>\n<p>For this project we organised and co-ordinated a comprehensive design and supervision team, establishing a structure with delegated responsibility to our highly qualified and experienced key team members and integrated site teams. This included a detailed Project Procedures Scheme, which has been successfully applied for contract management, design and construction supervision services on major motorway projects nationally, regionally and worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Our services on this project involved:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>pre-construction activities<\/li>\n<li>administration of the civil work contract<\/li>\n<li>approval of contractors&#8217; materials, construction techniques and programmes of works<\/li>\n<li>direct supervision of the works and monitoring of progress<\/li>\n<li>technical assistance during works execution<\/li>\n<li>preparation of mandatory reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We also solved some important environmental issues, as well as ones involving telecommunication and power lines, and helped create a solution to enable the main gas pipeline network for Zenica to be relocated.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":7,"featured_media":5459,"template":"","tags":[],"city":[395,396],"class_list":["post-20082","project","type-project","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","city-biljesevo","city-kakanj"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/baltics\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project\/20082","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/baltics\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/baltics\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/project"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/baltics\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/7"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/baltics\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project\/20082\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/baltics\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/5459"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/baltics\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=20082"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/baltics\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=20082"},{"taxonomy":"city","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/baltics\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/city?post=20082"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
