The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts is located on almost nine acres on two blocks in the heart of downtown Orlando.\u00a0 This project was constructed as a public-private partnership between the Dr. Phillips Center, the City of Orlando, and Orange County.\u00a0 This project was one of the three-venues comprising the Orlando Community Venues Program.<\/p>\n
The 330,000 square-foot building includes performance venues, a banquet hall and a School of Arts. There are two theaters, a 2,700-seat amplified hall for Broadway-style performances, and a 300-seat multi-function community theater, along with a large outdoor arts plaza. Serving as the City’s Owner\u2019s Representative, AECOM provided owner’s representative services on all three Venues projects, including the Dr. Phillips Center.<\/p>\n
