{"id":21092,"date":"2015-10-01T19:30:09","date_gmt":"2015-10-01T19:30:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/benelux\/projects\/akerman-health-centre\/"},"modified":"2018-06-06T02:39:22","modified_gmt":"2018-06-06T06:39:22","slug":"akerman-health-centre","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/benelux\/projects\/akerman-health-centre\/","title":{"rendered":"Akerman Health Centre"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The \u00a312.4 million Akerman is a flagship project in Lambeth Primary Care Trust\u2019s overall strategy for improving primary care and enabling shift of resource and services from the acute to primary and community health settings.<\/p>\n<p>The national award-winning health centre was delivered through the UK\u2019s National Health Service Local Improvement Finance Trust initiative (LIFT) with AECOM working with the South London Health Partnership LIFT Co, developer Fulcrum and Lambeth PCT to implement an innovative funding model and achieve financial close as well as providing project management and health and safety services throughout the development period.<\/p>\n<p>Cited as \u2018a beacon for its community\u2019, the centre accommodates a range of services including GP clinics, dentistry, children\u2019s services, midwifery, primary care and community health services.
