Our efforts reach beyond the boundaries of business to make an even greater impact on communities across the globe.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>AECOM employees are <a href=\"https:\/\/aecom.com\/blog\/bringing-fresh-water-chacaya-guatemala\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bringing fresh water to a Guatemalan village<\/a> in partnership with Engineers Without Borders. They are working with Pollinate Energy to <a href=\"https:\/\/aecom.com\/blog\/bolstering-community-connections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">empower communities across India<\/a> with more affordable, clean-energy solutions. They are <a href=\"https:\/\/aecom.com\/blog\/make-change-end-plastic-pollution\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">developing solutions to mitigate environmental issues<\/a>. They are <a href=\"https:\/\/aecom.com\/blog\/paying-it-forward-with-futureintech\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">serving as mentors<\/a>, expanding horizons and championing equality. They are <a href=\"https:\/\/aecom.com\/press-releases\/water-people-aecom-celebrate-10-year-partnership\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">supporting the mission of Water for People<\/a>\u00a0to provide improved water and sanitation projects.<\/p>\n<p>These passionate individuals are leading with purpose, united by a common goal of delivering a better world. As a company, as groups of employees and as individuals, we rally around these pillars through giving, volunteerism and relief to generate as much collective impact as possible.<\/p>\n<p>To strengthen AECOM\u2019s commitment to corporate responsibility and our overall purpose, we recently launched the <a href=\"https:\/\/aecom.com\/press-releases\/aecom-strengthens-commitment-corporate-responsibility-launch-blueprint-travel-grant-program\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Blueprint Travel Grant<\/a> program. This global initiative supports employees as they help bring lasting, scalable solutions to communities in need. Grants are used to fund service-based trips made in partnership with charitable organizations that are conducting projects that align with our core pillars.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty-five outstanding projects were chosen in the Blueprint Travel Grant program\u2019s inaugural year, ranging from building critical infrastructure to promoting gender equality and protecting endangered species. We\u2019ll be showcasing the journeys of the grantees, along with their nonprofit partner organizations, here on the <a href=\"https:\/\/aecom.com\/blog\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AECOM blog<\/a>, so be sure to check back for updates.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to announcing the Blueprint Travel Grant program, I\u2019m excited by all the initiatives underway as part of our <em>Blueprint for a Better World<\/em> platform. Throughout June, we\u2019ve been celebrating AECOM Service Month, shining a spotlight on the amazing volunteer initiatives led by our local teams.
