As part of the overall international terminal planning process, AECOM’s airport retail group worked closely with the AECOM airport planning group to prepare a retail and concessions plan for the Sydney International Airport terminal in Australia. Already housing one of the world’s largest airport terminal retail and concessions programs, the developments included in the Sydney International terminal master plan have an estimated construction cost in excess of $500 million.

AECOM applied its Airport Retail Study–an AECOM-produced global benchmarking report that measures the performance of retail programs at major international airports–to maximize commercial revenue opportunities at Sydney International.
