Availability of the Draft Basic Assessment Report (DBAR) and Environmental Management Programme (EMPr) for the proposed development of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and associated infrastructure at the Cuprum Substation located within Copperton, near the town of Prieska, Northern Cape Province.
The draft reports are made available here for public review and comment for a period of thirty (30) days from 10 August 2022 to 9 September 2022 (inclusive), in line with the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations of 2014 (as amended) and associated public participation requirements.
Please note: this is a re-application for Environmental Authorisation, following a refusal decision on the original application.
