AECOM announced today that a joint venture in which it participates was one of five companies awarded an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract worth up to US$10 billion by the U.S. Department of State’s (DoS) Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs.

The bureau funds programs that U.S. federal agencies and other national governments use to fight transnational crime and the trade of illegal drugs around the world.

Under the contract, the AECOM-led team, with WSI as the joint venture partner, known as Civilian Police International LLC, will compete for task orders to provide criminal justice advisers as well as life and mission support services to criminal justice development programs worldwide.  The services can pertain to office and living facilities, subsistence, vehicles, and associated equipment and supplies.

The IDIQ contract has one base year and four option years.
