AECOM awarded seven-year Remotely Piloted Aircraft operations and maintenance support prime IDIQ contract with US$961 million maximum value

GERMANTOWN, Md. (May 1, 2018) — AECOM, a premier, fully integrated global infrastructure firm, announced today that its Management Services group has been selected by the United States Air Force to provide Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) operations and maintenance. Initial orders are estimated to be valued at US$52 million, and the estimated maximum contract value of this single-award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract is US$961 million. The period of performance began March 23, 2018, and includes a transition period, a seven-year performance period and a possible six-month extension.

AECOM will provide organizational-level maintenance for the MQ-9 Reaper and RQ-4 Global Hawk RPA as well as operator aircrew support for the MQ-9 at sites around the world. This award significantly expands AECOM’s level of support to the unmanned aerial systems community, which currently includes small, medium and long-range systems as well as operations centers for the United States Air Force, Navy, National Guard and commercial clients.
