AECOM’s John Robinett to receive Themed Entertainment Association award

robinettLOS ANGELES (April 11, 2016) — AECOM, a premier, fully integrated global infrastructure firm, announced today that its Economics Senior Vice President John Robinett has received the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) Distinguished Service Award.

The TEA Distinguished Service Award is presented annually in recognition of a TEA member’s outstanding contributions “above and beyond the call of duty.” Robinett is being recognized for his significant contributions to the industry and for his extensive involvement and leadership within the TEA, including the development and publication of the TEA/AECOM Theme Index and Museum Index.

The TEA is a global association for the makers of compelling places and experiences. The TEA Awards were held at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim April 1-2.

Robinett has more than 30 years of experience in planning, developing and operating leisure, culture and real estate projects across the globe. Over the course of his career, he has partnered with key clients such as The Walt Disney Co., Universal Studios, Warner Bros., LEGO, J. Paul Getty Trust, the American Museum of Natural History and NASA. Robinett has been actively involved with the TEA for many years, serving as an International Board and Committee member and as a speaker on, and organizer of panels on market and industry economics for the TEA Summit.
