AECOM’s Management Services business secures $192 million Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Services contract

GERMANTOWN, MD (January 8, 2020) – AECOM, the world’s premier infrastructure firm, announced today that its Management Services business was awarded a GSA schedule task order to provide Integrated Logistics Support services for the Project Manager (PM) of Tactical Network (TN) programs. The contract directly supports the effort to deliver a unified tactical network for the U.S. Army’s Communications-Electronics Command, headquartered at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland. The 5-year contract has a maximum value of $192 million.

“We are proud to expand our support of critical Command, Control, Communications, Computers,
Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance systems for our nation’s defense,” said John Vollmer, AECOM’s Management Services president. “The upcoming separation of Management Services into a privately held, government-focused business will greatly benefit from this and our other contracts, both in the D.C. Metro area and around the world.”

“Bringing this work to our portfolio of other APG C4ISR projects, including supporting the Product Manager for Radars and Product Manager for Aerostats, continues to strengthen our capabilities and experience in government services,” said Dr. Karl Spinnenweber, executive vice president and general manager for AECOM’s Mission Readiness strategic business unit.

In October, AECOM announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement for the sale of its Management Services (MS) business to affiliates of American Securities LLC and Lindsay Goldberg for a purchase price of $2.405 billion, subject to customary cash, debt and working capital adjustments. The sale transaction is expected to close in the first half of fiscal 2020.
