{"id":23939,"date":"2018-04-18T15:46:39","date_gmt":"2018-04-18T15:46:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/kw\/projects\/methodist-hospital-north-campus-expansion\/"},"modified":"2018-06-27T10:52:22","modified_gmt":"2018-06-27T14:52:22","slug":"methodist-hospital-north-campus-expansion","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/kw\/projects\/methodist-hospital-north-campus-expansion\/","title":{"rendered":"Methodist Hospital North Campus Expansion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"editor-emphasized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/aecom.com\/aecom-hunt\/\">AECOM Hunt<\/a> served as construction manager for the Methodist Hospital North Campus Expansion, which included the demolition of an existing two story education building and underground parking to make way for a new 20-story building on the Houston Methodist Campus within the Texas Medical Center.<\/p>\n<p>The building is approximately 925,210 square feet and consists of a diagnostic base that includes parking at basement level, public spaces, an atrium, conferencing center, central sterile processing, an imaging suite, a radiosurgery suite, surgery floors, and cath lab floors. In addition, the project included lab and pharmacy space and food services.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 102 ICU and 228 acute patient rooms were completed as part of the project. The top of the building has an MEP penthouse for emergency generators and includes a Helipad.
