The objectives of the project are to improve the capabilities of the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service to identify and prevent potential cross-border trafficking of Weapons of Mass Destruction-related materials, and to respond to vulnerabilities created by the ongoing conflict along the Ukraine-Russian Federation border and the unrecognized boundary between Kherson Oblast and the Crimean peninsula. Specific goals of the task order are to increase border security capabilities by providing impactful solutions that can be readily implemented, are cost effective and performance enhancing relative to mission requirements, and can be easily absorbed and sustained by the SBGS upon implementation.
The team will provide program management, equipment procurement and delivery, and analyses of alternatives services, and train-the-trainer support to Ukrainian State Border Guard Service end users.
