The project site is located approximately 25 km (16 miles) west of downtown Mexicali, south of the U.S.-Mexico border, east of the El Centinela Hill (Mount Signal), and north of the Tijuana-Mexicali Highway (Mexican Federal Highway No. 2).<\/p>\n<p>AECOM performed a preliminary geotechnical investigation for the proposed Silicon Border Scientific Park.
