In his new role, he will provide strategic and market leadership for Architecture, Building Engineering, Design Planning and Economics in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.
Anderson is an architect and engineer with 35 years of experience directing the design and construction of commercial, residential, government, educational and aviation facilities. He brings experience in integrating diverse design teams and successfully completing challenging projects as principal-in-charge on dozens of airports, education, healthcare, labs, justice, military, transportation, urban design and federal projects worldwide. A leader in both the architectural and engineering disciplines, he was selected as an expert in architecture and urban design by the United Nations and has supervised urban design for new towns and a capital city.

Prior to joining AECOM, Anderson served as senior vice president of the buildings and facilities division at another leading engineering consulting firm in New York City. He is an active member of the Society of American Military Engineers; the New York Building Congress; and the American Council of Engineering Companies.
