Under the five-year contract, which commences immediately, AECOM will take responsibility for many aspects of the construction of the Midfield Terminal Building, which will be a 7.5-million-square-foot terminal building as well as the required associated airside and landside infrastructure. \u00a0The terminal building is scheduled to open during 2017. \u00a0Passenger facilities will also include more than 296,000 square feet of airline hospitality lounges, a transit hotel and a heritage and culture museum. \u00a0The terminal will be able to handle more than 30 million passengers and will have sufficient piers to accommodate 65 aircraft, including the Airbus A380.<\/p>\n
