AECOM donated more than 1,000 pieces of undergarments to the program that is sponsored by Broward County and Kiwanis Divisions 23 and 24.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cWe were elated to give back to our community through this year\u2019s Christmas in July initiative, which is all about bringing smiles to children\u2019s faces,\u201d says Miriam Gerov, senior project manager for AECOM\u2019s expansion program and event coordinator. \u201cWe wholeheartedly understand the importance of helping those in need and are looking forward to participating in other charitable events in the Broward County area.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\nMore then 2,000 students enrolled in Broward County Public Schools list an area homeless shelter as their home address \u2013 a number which has dramatically increased in recent years.
