As the project\u2019s general contractor, Tishman will be responsible for the construction of the 21-story, 270-unit residential complex, which will include 30,000 square feet on the ground floor for retail as well as an enclosed parking garage with 588 spaces.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are proud to work with Golub &#38; Company and Wood Partners to build this high-profile project in the Village of Oak Park,\u201d said Gary Thalheimer, executive vice president of Tishman\u2019s Midwest region. \u201cThe Lake + Forest development will be a wonderful addition to the downtown Oak Park area. We are committed to successfully realizing this vision not only for our clients, but the village, area residents and business owners as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Construction on the development is scheduled to take 18 months, including 12 months for the completion of the new parking structure.
