Based in Los Angeles, Rim will lead all aspects of AECOM\u2019s global corporate communications, including corporate brand and reputation management, public and media relations, thought leadership programs, employee communications and engagement initiatives, crisis and issues management, and social media and digital communications. She will also partner at the corporate level to advance strategic marketing, philanthropy, community relations, government relations and financial communications. Rim will report to Kevin Lynch, executive vice president and chief strategy officer.<\/p>\n
Rim will join AECOM from Avery Dennison \u2014 a global leader in labeling and packaging materials and solutions with over 25,000 employees in more than 50 countries around the world. Since 2010, she has led corporate communications initiatives in support of the company\u2019s transformation to a more externally focused and sustainable enterprise, and currently serves as vice president, Global Corporate Communications. <\/p>\n
Prior to Avery Dennison, she was vice president of communications for the Disney ABC Television Group, where she designed and implemented global communications strategies to inform and engage employees across the company\u2019s entertainment and news television groups. Previously, Rim held corporate communications, marketing and investor relations roles at companies including WellPoint Health Networks, Countrywide Financial Corporation and KPMG.<\/p>\n

An active member of the Los Angeles community, Rim serves on the boards of the United Way of Greater Los Angeles and the Downtown Women\u2019s Center. She is also a member of prominent professional organizations for senior communications executives, including the Arthur Page Society, The Seminar and The Forum-Group. Rim holds a master\u2019s degree in communications management from the University of Southern California and a bachelor\u2019s degree in marketing from Azusa Pacific University. <\/p>\n
