Burke, AECOM president and chief executive officer. &#160;\u201cThe work we do as a company, coupled with our corporate social responsibility efforts, provides us with the privilege of touching the lives of millions of people every day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The sustainability report highlights some of AECOM\u2019s 2013 accomplishments, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>AECOM was named one of the World\u2019s Most Ethical Companies by the Ethisphere Institute.&#160; The company also made the ranking for 2014, marking its fourth-consecutive year on the list.<\/li>\n<li>AECOM\u2019s 2013 employee and company donations to charitable and philanthropic organizations globally totaled more than US$5.1 million.<\/li>\n<li>The company launched its \u201cSafety for Life\u201d program, which helped AECOM reduce its total recordable injury rate by 22 percent.&#160;<\/li>\n<li>Every office in North America transitioned to a new printing program and 30-percent recycled paper, which uses a more environmentally friendly manufacturing process.
