Ms. Bixby will leverage her 20 years of experience in transportation planning and engineering design to serve the Arizona market <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"PHOENIX (Feb. 12, 2018) \u2014 AECOM, a premier, fully integrated global infrastructure firm, today announced the addition of Jenny Bixby, professional engineer (PE), professional traffic operations engineer (PTOE), as vice president and business development manager in the Gulf Southwest region\u2019s transportation group. Based in Phoenix, Ms. Bixby will lead the business development efforts in Arizona while delivering on client projects.<\/p>\n

Ms. Bixby has over 20 years of experience in transportation planning and engineering, ranging from project design and management, to operations and business development. Her design experience includes master planned communities, arterial roadways, highway\/freeways and system interchanges. She has prepared numerous engineering and planning studies, including regional transportation planning studies, design concept reports and long range transportation plans. Additionally, she offers experience in roundabout design and feasibility studies for which she has served on an advisory role on roundabout projects throughout North America.<\/p>\n

\u201cJenny is a well-respected and recognized leader in transportation who brings innovative solutions and new approaches that will shape the future of infrastructure,\u201d said Wendy Lopez, AECOM Gulf Southwest region transportation business line lead. \u201cHer extensive experience in transportation planning, engineering design and project management, combined with her strong understanding of the local clients\u2019 needs, will enhance AECOM\u2019s ability to provide safe, secure and resilient infrastructure throughout the state.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prior to joining AECOM, Ms. Bixby served as a business development manager for another consulting firm where she was responsible for identifying industry trends and internal efforts to increase market awareness. She is a licensed PE (civil) in Arizona and Nevada. She earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Iowa State University.<\/p>\n

Ms. Bixby is actively involved in a number of industry associations, including American Public Works Association, American Society of Highway Engineers and Women\u2019s Transportation Seminar where she previously served as a Phoenix Board Member.<\/p>\n
