{"id":15245,"date":"2015-12-11T15:55:41","date_gmt":"2015-12-11T15:55:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/taiwan\/?post_type=project&#038;p=15245"},"modified":"2016-05-01T12:18:17","modified_gmt":"2016-05-01T16:18:17","slug":"commonwealth-games-glasgow-2014","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/tw\/projects\/commonwealth-games-glasgow-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"editor-emphasized\">AECOM undertook crowd flow analysis for two Glasgow 2014 venues: the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) comprising five competition halls; and Hampden Park \u2013 the main athletics stadium and venue for the closing ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>The initial work phases included analysis of arrival, changeover, bump out, rainy day and evacuation scenarios for both venues, with a combined seating capacity of 62,000.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All venues were existing buildings, and the modelling aimed to inform Glasgow 2014 of the functionality of the proposed overlays; particularly the Person Search Areas (PSAs), ticket check areas and concession stalls.<\/li>\n<li>Entry and exit capacities of all circulatory routes were assessed.<\/li>\n<li>We provided early feedback on capacity constraints to enable designs to be changed to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for spectators.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our analysis allowed Glasgow 2014 to consult with all stakeholders using evidence based data, and resolve design issues early in the planning process.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10,"featured_media":15259,"template":"","tags":[],"city":[],"class_list":["post-15245","project","type-project","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/tw\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project\/15245","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/tw\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/tw\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/project"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/tw\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/10"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/tw\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project\/15245\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/tw\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/15259"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/tw\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=15245"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/tw\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=15245"},{"taxonomy":"city","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/tw\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/city?post=15245"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
