{"id":21963,"date":"2017-06-20T05:20:33","date_gmt":"2017-06-20T05:20:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/taiwan\/?post_type=project&#038;p=21963"},"modified":"2017-06-20T01:21:07","modified_gmt":"2017-06-20T05:21:07","slug":"mazoon-dairy-company","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/aecom.com\/tw\/projects\/mazoon-dairy-company\/","title":{"rendered":"Mazoon Dairy Company"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mazoon Dairy Company is the Sultanate\u2019s newest dairy farm, comprising an array of facilities including: significant dairy herd housing, feed &amp; fodder mixing and storage facilities, a milking parlor, veterinary facilities, a processing and packaging plant, and a waste treatment facility, as well as sale and logistics facilities. When fully operational, the facility will produce a range of dairy products in a variety of flavors for Oman and the surrounding region.<\/p>\n<p>The integrated dairy project will incorporate systems to harness energy from alternative sources such as biogas and solar power.<\/p>\n<p>By 2028, the farm will have the capacity to yield over 270 million liters of milk per annum, establishing Oman as a net exporter of dairy products in the next 20 years.<\/p>\n<p>Spread over three years, Phase 1 of the dairy farm will house over 6,500 cows, producing 170,000 liters of milk per day\u00a0with plans for expansion in the future.
