Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) is one of Vietnam’s largest state-owned commercial banks, with more than 100 branches, transaction offices, and subsidiary locations. Their BIDV Tower is the latest skyscraper planned for bustling Ho Chi Minh City.
Situated in the prime location of Ngyuen Hue Boulevard, Davis Langdon KPK, an AECOM company, provided cost management services for the tower which comprises an auditorium, a restaurant and four basements. BIDV Tower’s defining features also include a podium at the base of the tower which extends outwards to shelter the entrance area, and a rooftop garden at the peak of the skyscraper that comes with recreational and dining areas.
The state-funded development is a 40-storey, 152 meters-tall Grade A office building, covering a site of approximately 2,700 square meters with a total gross floor area of about 42,500 square meters. It is expected to be completed by 2019.
