The Middle East’s proximity to Asia creates the possibility of sharing cultures and services. By creating an Asian themed shopping destination, Dragon City Mall has expanded the scope of trade within the region.
Our interdisciplinary team of experts provided project management for the project, which comprises 55,000 square metres of shopping and dining services.
Overcoming challenging schedule restraints, the project was completed within a total construction period of only 14 months. The shopping centre, which is the Middle East’s only Chinese themed shopping destination, boasts 710 independent shops, 12 cafes and 18 restaurants.
Through the use of open communication and a collaborative approach between the project delivery team and the client, our site team was able to maintain effective management of the project.
The shopping centre will increase tourism in Bahrain as well as welcome more visitors from the surrounding GCC countries.
