The Four Seasons at Sharm el Sheikh is a luxury destination resort on a gently sloping 10 hectare site fronting the Red Sea at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula.
Working with hotel operators and engineers from Toronto, architects from Palo Alto and developers from Alexandria, Egypt, we developed the overall schematic site plan and design development for all hardscape and landscape elements.
The main hotel is a low-rise complex with approximately 143 guest rooms in one- and two-story villa buildings stepping down the hillside to the sea.
All guest rooms have views of the sea and access to the oasis-style swimming pool and deck terraces. The pool area is linked by sloped pathways to the beach and a floating dock which will provide access to sailing and scuba diving on some of the world’s best coral reef. The resort also includes a residential component of 35 villas and 68 timeshare apartments. These are arranged in courtyard clusters along a narrow village street that complements the hotel design.
