AECOM performed an environmental health and safety due diligence assessment (EHSDDA) of a container terminal at the Port of Rotterdam.
The container terminal handles, stores and maintains containers, breakbulk and general cargo. It operates transport services (barge, rail and road) though a joint venture with a deep-sea terminal operator.
Our experts carried out the purchaser EHSDDA at Europe’s largest port on behalf of an international investment firm. This included a site visit and extensive data-room review. Based on the results and recommendations, and financial and technical reports, the firm decided to invest in the terminal.
AECOM’s Netherlands team conducted the EHSDDA. Our UK operations specialists performed the technical and financial portions of the due diligence.
