AECOM served as owner’s representative, providing construction management services as an equal joint venture partner. The program encompassed new construction and remodel of existing structures. The completed six-story, 515,000-sqaure-foot facility, combined with the existing, remodeled building, provides 266 beds, an emergency center, an orthopaedic institute, a critical care unit, a labor and delivery unit, a pediatric unit, an oncology unit and a conference center. Our scope of services included a full range of preconstruction, construction management, and project control services; these included cost management and forecasting, constructability reviews and quality assurance, procurement, change order negotiation, estimating, scheduling and time impact analysis, document control, RFI management, and project closeout. The existing hospital remained fully operational throughout the entire period of construction.
