The project involves the development of the St Brendan’s Hospital Grounds at Grangegorman in Dublin’s north inner city. This 73 acre site will be redeveloped to create 21st century facilities to meet the needs of the HSE, DIT and surrounding communities.
We are providing project management & quantity surveying services on this project, including procurement and phasing strategies together with cost planning and cost benefit analysis advice for the strategic plan phase.
Our team is involved in the delivery of the initial tranche of developments which includes healthcare and administration facilities for the Client, Grangegorman Development Agency.
AECOM were a member of the consortium appointed by Grangegorman Development Agency to prepare the strategic plan for the campus development. The project involves the development of a 21st century university campus on a 73 acre inner city site. The project includes 1.61 million square feet of university campus made up of six separate faculties, 850,000 square feet of sports, residential and other support functions. The project also includes 500,000 square feet of supported health uses on one part.
AECOM collaborated with the Masterplan team to create a strategic plan to facilitate the implementation of the overall masterplan on the site. The strategic plan included the inter alia, the capex, funding and procurement structures, operations and implementation.
