“Vaccinate” our industry and build sustainable infrastructure for our community

While we are partnering with our clients in their infrastructure investments to solve challenges and  prepare for the future, AECOM has pioneered a new urban methodology to focus on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) that promotes careful, deliberate planning and innovative infrastructure designed to meet citizens’ demands for a functional city life. Stephen Lai, SVP, Land Supply/Municipal and Water, Hong Kong, recently shared his insights at the ICE HKA Conference 2021, acknowledging that, “We must set our sights high and strive for a more cohesive society, more attuned to the world around us. New thinking is required to accommodate both the new ways people will live and work and how we see infrastructure — green, grey and digital — and what we will demand from it.” Learn how we apply this methodology in projects like Tuen Mun Chek Lap Kok Link.
