New York University’s (NYU) Shanghai Campus is the first international university in China jointly established by institutions of higher education from both China and the United States. It has been specially approved by the Ministry of Education of China and offers a US-style, highly selective education across a full range of academic disciplines.
The campus has a total gross floor area (GFA) of 63,600 square meters, spanning 15 floors with a podium on the sixth floor.
Located in the heart of the Lujiazui Financial and Trade Zone in Pudong, the campus sits adjacent to Shanghai Metro Lines 2 and 4 — less than 40 meters from the nearest metro tunnels. Our project management team carefully minimized construction impacts on both the metro lines and the surrounding financial district through strategic staging and site planning.
This is the second project in which AECOM has partnered with Shanghai Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone Development Co.
