Under the terms of the contract, URS has an opportunity to provide a variety of services on a task-order basis at multiple Alaska locations. The work may include support for pipelines and facilities, and infrastructure upgrades, as well as potential expansion of CPAI’s North Slope, Beluga River, and Cook Inlet facilities.
“URS has been serving the oil and gas industry in Alaska for more than seven decades, and we are very proud to continue our relationship with CPAI,” said Mark Costello, URS general manager of Industrial/Process. “With our extensive experience working in remote and arctic locations, and our expanding Alaska base of operations, our team is well positioned to support CPAI’s capital project needs for the next five years.”
The URS office in Anchorage, Alaska, will continue to be the focal point for the program, with the goal of using local resources and creating jobs in the region.
