AECOM appoints Andy Sallis president of global oil & gas
LOS ANGELES (Nov. 30, 2016) — AECOM, a premier, fully integrated global infrastructure firm, today announced that Andy Sallis has been named president, global oil & gas of AECOM’s construction services organization.
In this role, Mr. Sallis is charged with leading day-to-day operations and developing the organization’s oil & gas strategy to best position it for emerging opportunities in the industry. Further, he will be focused on leveraging AECOM’s full suite of design, build, finance and operate capabilities to pursue energy projects with broader scope that are well aligned with the Company’s robust project management proficiency.
An accomplished engineering and construction executive, Mr. Sallis joins AECOM after a 30-plus year career at AMEC Foster Wheeler, a multinational consultancy, engineering and project management company. He brings extensive experience in the general management, business development, operations, risk management and strategy fields, including expertise across multiple sectors and countries in the energy industry.

Mr. Sallis earned a civil engineering degree from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. He started his career as a structural design engineer in London working for Mathew Hall Engineering, which was acquired by AMEC. Following progression to project management positions and international assignments in South Africa, Angola, and China, Mr. Sallis moved to Houston in 2004 – a world capital for the oil & gas industry. He will be located in AECOM’s Houston office.
