Subsequent phases include a new hospital for women, obstetrics and neonatal care and a speciality 500-bed medical centre.
John Hicks, AECOM’s global head of healthcare comments:
“We are delighted to have the opportunity to undertake such a significant role in this prestigious project that will make a major contribution to the healthcare of the people of Jordan. We have been delivering major healthcare facilities across the Middle East for over forty years and this project will benefit from our integrated capability, global experience and in-depth local knowledge from pre-design programming through to construction supervision. KHMC has been the principal location for healthcare provision in the country and we are now focused on ensuring that the new hospital will enable KHMC to attract the best talent and offer advanced treatments and care, supporting Jordan’s ambition to continue as a leader in healthcare into the future.”
