19 July 2019 – Premier, fully integrated global infrastructure firm AECOM has been awarded a place on the Environment Agency’s Client Support Framework to provide Cost and Carbon Management Services. AECOM is one of five suppliers appointed to the four-year framework that will the support delivery of the Environment Agency’s Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management (FCERM) Capital programme. With the aim of reducing the risk of flooding affecting both people and properties, the FCERM programme will see investment of over £2billion in the coming years.
The Client Support Framework has been put together to ensure that collaboration is at the heart of everything the Environment Agency delivers, as well as play a key role in supporting successful capital programme delivery via the Environment Agency’s Next Generation Supplier Arrangements (NGSA).
The Client Support Framework is just one of the many frameworks that form part of the NGSA. This will enable AECOM to build on its existing partnership with the Environment Agency to assist them in achieving corporate objectives such as reducing flood risk in communities whilst delivering sustainable solutions. AECOM will provide cost, project, programme and specialist commercial consultancy services. Other services include risk analysis, commercial and contract advisory, project controls and 4D and 5D data modelling.
