LONDON (Jul. 09, 2020) — AECOM, the world’s premier infrastructure firm, has won a place on Highways England’s Regional Delivery Partnership Technical Adviser Framework. AECOM has won Lot 6, meaning it will provide technical advice for roads projects with a cumulative value of more than £1 billion in the North East and North West.
“This award continues the deep working relationship AECOM has with Highways England throughout the organisation, supporting the delivery of the government’s second Road Investment Strategy,” said Rory Poole, AECOM UK’s Head of Highways. “As a long-standing partner in the roads sector, we also work with the supply chain to align the sector with Highways England in its drive to ensure that safety, value, quality and customer service are entrenched in both the delivery and maintenance of road schemes.”
The work will support Highways England in the government’s Road Investment Strategy priorities, delivering schemes safely, efficiently and with a focus on customer service. AECOM’s work will cover economic evaluation, route decisions, and technical assurance and supervision throughout the development, design and construction of capital road projects.
AECOM will be responsible for delivering sustainable solutions which bring value throughout the whole life of the asset, increasing innovation and knowledge in roads delivery and maintenance and sharing best practice with the wider industry.
