The Cayman International School is a private institution located within the 500-acre master-planned community of Camana Bay on Grand Cayman Island. The design concept integrates classrooms, labs, an administration building, a library and a multi-purpose hall with athletic fields and courts, while at the same time providing distinct educational precincts within the campus for students from kindergarten through the twelfth grade.

The campus design reinforces the integration of the public and private uses of the facility; four educational and social courtyards, each with its own identity, relate to the age groups and define student centers for the population of 500. The community-related amenities of the social hall are linked with adjacent athletic fields, pool and the outdoor amenities. This integration of use and space reinforces the bond between the school and the community.
