AECOM has been working with Kuwait Oil Company on a major program to improve air quality and set the standard for oil companies and governments throughout the Gulf.
The program has been developed in partnership with Kuwait’s Environment Public Authority, to reduce emissions and pioneer a national air quality inventory as well as a real-time monitoring system.
Our team has helped create bespoke pollution control permitting software that helps to detect and measure air quality.
National policy making is being informed by studies into air quality management. The program has received an award from the Council of Arab Ministers Responsible for the Environment (CAMRE).
