The Time Warner Cable Arena is designed to reflect the vitality of a world-class city and its world-class basketball fans. With proximity to restaurants, stores and transit terminals, the arena is home to the NBA Charlotte Bobcats and WNBA Charlotte Sting, as well as hockey, arena football, tournaments, concerts and family shows.
Charlotte’s outstanding support of the arts was integrated into the design concept by Ellerbe Becket, an AECOM Company. The crescent shape of the arena is symbolic of the community embracing the event and an iconic signal that the team, city and fans have arrived in Charlotte.
