AECOM, with its partner Capita Symonds, has a position on all three Consultancy Lots under the Environment Agency’s Water and Environment Management (WEM) Framework. The four-year framework, which started in 2013, is part of the Environment Agency’s wider programme to streamline the way it procures professional services through establishing new supplier frameworks.

Under the framework, AECOM delivers a wide range of services to reduce the risk from river and coastal flooding and to deliver environmentally-targeted outcomes at locations across England and Wales. AECOM delivers flood modelling, mapping and data services, environmental services and engineering consultancy to support the Environment Agency in its flood and coastal risk management objectives. As well as the Environment Agency, services can be accessed by risk management authorities, Defra delivery bodies, local authorities and the Welsh Government.
