MARKHAM (May 1, 2018) — AECOM, a premier, fully integrated global infrastructure firm, announced that it has received ReNew Canada’s Platinum Elite badge designation for its involvement on 31 of ReNew’s 2018 “Top 100 Biggest Infrastructure Projects.”
This year’s report lists CAD$199 billion (US$160 billion) in infrastructure investments throughout Canada from public and private sources.
AECOM showcases a diversified portfolio in key markets from across the entirety of Canada, with 16 projects in Ontario, seven in Quebec, three in Manitoba, two each in Alberta and British Columbia and one in the Northwest Territories, for a total combined value of nearly CAD$76.3 billion (approximately US$63 billion), an increase of more than 24 percent over last year’s report.
“It is an honor to be recognized again by ReNew for our involvement in Canada’s biggest infrastructure projects. This is a true testament to our commitment to meeting our clients’ needs and improving people’s lives,” says Jean Nehmé, AECOM’s interim executive vice president, Canada. “We are very proud of our contributions to building and maintaining safe and sustainable infrastructure from coast to coast.”
ReNew Canada is the voice of the Canadian public sector infrastructure industry. Its annual “Top 100” report ranks the country’s biggest infrastructure projects by dollar value. The report was created to acknowledge the key players in the most important Canadian infrastructure projects and to give all involved stakeholders a way to celebrate their accomplishments.
