7 July 2017 – To champion LGBT inclusion in the field, AECOM will be marching alongside networking group InterEngineering tomorrow at the annual London Pride parade.
The company will be marching under the banner #BuildingEquality. Joining other leading firms from the engineering and construction industry, AECOM will be showing its solidarity in challenging stereotypes associated within the industry.
This will be the second year running at the London march for AECOM.
AECOM is proud to be marching this Saturday in celebration of diversity and equality across the construction industry.
In addition, AECOM recently took part in the LGBT Property Business Diversity Conference, with Andrew Jones, Practice Leader – Design, Planning & Economics, as a speaker. This breakthrough conference, which is an industry first, brought together senior industry leaders and firms from the property and real estate industry, business thought-leaders and LGBT advocacy groups.
AECOM also took part in an Alliance Network workshop this week in Birmingham which focused on promoting the attraction, development and retention of LGBT graduates in the workplace.
