AECOM’s fees are approximately US$13 million for the design and construction management services it will provide.
This project will comprise an approximately 6.8-mile-long, dual two-lane trunk road between Hong Kong’s northeastern New Territories and the Luohu district of Shenzhen on mainland China, as well as site formation and infrastructure works for the development of the new BCP within an area of about 57 acres.
“We are very excited to play a key role in the improvement of the area’s transport network,” said John M. Dionisio, AECOM president and chief executive officer. “The new crossing point will provide travelers convenient access between Hong Kong and Shenzhen East.”
The project is slated for commissioning no later than 2018.
