Located in Changping Life Science Park, Beijing GoBroad Hospital is a pioneer in the research hospital model in China.
This cutting-edge facility specializes in diagnosing and treating challenging and critical cases, with a focus on solid tumors, hematologic tumors, and brain science, alongside conducting clinical research and biomedicine development. Spanning an approximate floor area of 100,000 square meters, it officially opened its doors in late 2023.
AECOM’s multidisciplinary team, encompassing architectural design, medical planning, interior design and landscape design, has delivered an innovative design that integrates international hospital design principles with the unique demands of both research and clinical care — a groundbreaking achievement in China. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, our team’s resilience ensured the project’s swift and stellar realization from concept to completion in just four years.
The hospital’s orderly architectural structure, strategic functional layout, and clear flow lines, along with the verdant therapeutic garden and an atmosphere enriched with artistic elements, create a healing environment that transcends traditional healthcare — a place that prioritizes not only treatment but holistic well-being too.
