Adrian del Maestro

Adrian del Maestro is Vice President and Global Energy Advisory Lead at AECOM. He advises technology companies, utilities, energy providers, investors and public‑sector clients on navigating the energy transition and delivering complex energy and infrastructure programmes. Adrian’s work focuses on data centers, energy security and low‑carbon investment, including offshore wind, EV charging, hydrogen and carbon capture. He supports clients in managing system‑level risk across energy, capital, permitting and regulatory environments, helping align long‑term strategy with delivery realities. Prior to joining AECOM, Adrian held senior roles in global management consulting firms including PwC Strategy&, Booz Allen Hamilton and EY, and led a specialist energy advisory business. He is a frequent speaker at industry forums and regularly engages with clients and stakeholders on macro energy trends shaping investment and infrastructure development. Adrian holds degrees from the University of Southampton and the London School of Economics, is a fellow of the Energy Institute, and advises a number of boards.
