David Gallacher
Dr. David Gallacher is an Executive Director with AECOM (Hong Kong) with over 20 years’ experience in the environmental sector. David has worked on hundreds of projects through the Middle East, South Asia, South-east Asia and East Asia, in partnership with government departments, private developers and multilateral banks. He has a particular interest in biodiversity design for urban environments, and has been involved in award winning projects such as DaShaHe Urban River Restoration in Shenzhen, and Tung Chung East Ecoshoreline in Hong Kong. David gives lectures, seminars and courses throughout the Asia Pacific Region, and has been a key contributor to successful and award winning AECOM publications, including Brownfield Remediation and Redevelopment, Climate:Design, A Book on Design and Planning for the Age of Climate Change, and the Wetland Restoration Handbook.
