Djemila has more than 30 years of experience and is the newly appointed lead of the Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning and Urban Design group in Quebec. She obtained a degree in architecture and a master's in urban planning with an urban design major from Université de Montréal. She leads a variety of projects of different scales at AECOM and also teaches a course in urban regeneration at the University of Montreal.
