Jennifer Obertino

Jennifer Obertino leads AECOM’s Global Energy Practice, driving strategy and growth for more than 9,000 practitioners worldwide. With over 30 years of experience in environment, energy, and civil infrastructure, she specializes in delivering complex programs from advisory through construction. Jennifer champions innovation in clean energy and serves as executive sponsor for AECOM’s partnership with Type 1 Energy, advancing nuclear fusion technologies to enable sustainable, scalable energy solutions. Her team focuses on energy generation - including nuclear – fission and fusion, renewables, and fossil fuels and transmission systems such as grid modernization, pipelines, carbon capture, and digital solutions. Jennifer is recognized for elevating AECOM’s market presence through thought leadership and strategic client engagement, securing large-scale energy infrastructure projects globally. She holds a civil engineering degree, is a licensed Professional Engineer.
