Rosa Gwinn

Rosa E. Gwinn, PhD, PG, Vice President, Global PFAS Technical Lead With 30 years at AECOM and legacy companies, Dr. Gwinn offers access to the entire range of AECOM’s environmental consulting resources across the Americas and globally. Her primary technical focus has been characterization and remediation as environmental contaminants emerged: chlorinated solvents, munitions, and explosives of concern (MEC), munitions constituents (MC), chemical warfare materiel (CWM), and, most recently, per- and polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS). Stemming from a career focused on innovation around emerging environmental problems, she chartered and leads AECOM’s Global PFAS Initiative. With a technical foundation in solving thorny remediation problems, she recognized the need to focus AECOM’s creative strength on addressing PFAS in drinking water, wastewater, and the environment.
